Welcome to Chesed Shel Henel Medical Equipment Gemach!
We are a non-profit organization that provides medical equipment loans to the local Jewish community of Pittsburgh and its guests. Our goal is to help people get the equipment they need to recover or manage their condition, without the financial burden of purchasing it outright.
By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
To be eligible to borrow equipment from Chesed Shel Henel, you must:
- Be a member of the local Jewish community of Pittsburgh or a guest thereof.
2. Equipment
We offer a wide variety of medical equipment for loan, including:
- Wheelchairs
- Walkers
- Crutches
- Hospital beds
- Oxygen concentrators
- Nebulizers
- CPAP machines
- And more
Please note that we do not have all types of equipment available, and we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
3. Loan Period
The loan period for each piece of equipment varies depending on the type of equipment and the borrower’s needs. However, the maximum loan period is typically six months.
4. Renewal
If you need to renew your loan, please contact us before the loan period expires.
5. Return of Equipment
You are responsible for returning the equipment to Chesed Shel Henel in good condition at the end of the loan period. If the equipment is damaged, you may be liable for the cost of repairs or replacement.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chesed Shel Henel, its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the equipment.
7. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
8. Severability
If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from this agreement and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
9. Entire Agreement
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
10. Acceptance
By using the services of Chesed Shel Henel Medical Equipment Gemach, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.
